WWE you will probably be my best bet for help. Where on Facebook do you put the Geek button to make it show? Can you personalize it like you can on Myspace?

http://www.facebook.com/share_partners.php

Quote:
It says there: Add a link or button to your site to make it easier for your content to be shared on Facebook. Copy and paste the following code blocks into your site and replace with the link you want to Share.

Ok I am lost. Where do you put these codes? I am really new to facebook so I get lost easy.

These codes will let me put the Geeks button on Face book? Seemed like it was saying I could add a facebook link to another site...

Well Holly... I totally agree with you there... its just their choice of wording got me confuse as well

Here I found another link... this one I think should hit it on the nail... lol

http://www.cwtv.com/thecw/widgets-facebook-directions

It clearly says there:
Quote:
In order to add the Widget (or any other extra HTML) to a Facebook profile, you must first add an HTML box, available at http://apps.facebook.com/html_box/

Now I do not have a Facebook account so I cannot test it for you. But just like here we have to activate the HTML thingy so our html codes can work, seems the same applies there

Let me know if this helps!! Smile

Ok so I have an html box under my applications just like the directions said. But it is still not on my page like the directions say. It has the Geeks logo. It is in my applications list but not showing. Guessing that might be all there is....THanks for your help.

PostSubject: Re: Facebook Question   5/9/2009, 09:04

It is not on my profile page it is in the applications tab that I do not think anyone else has access to. So yes and no. LOL. I have no clue!

WWE I thought you would be all over this. Pepperpot you have been a great help. I think I am close but am not sure how to go the rest of the way. I will do a google search maybe and see what I find. Got it to work on MySpace so there must be a way to make it work on Facebook. Before it was curiosity...now it is a challenge something to overcome. I can't stand this! LOL
