Hi
My computer is doing so good, but I shut my computer all the way off cuz I was going to be gone for three days. When I turned it back on the monitor looked blurry like I needed glasses or like a film was over the screen. (No it was clean.) Restarted it and it is still blurry. What do I do?
Thanks!
Holly

1) Check the monitor controls for a "deguase" function and try that. 2) Leave the monitor on with or without a screensaver for a couple of days and see if it settles back in. 3) You could also try changing the refresh rate. Sometimes when a monitor is powered down for an extended time it will revert to a default refresh rate which may not be ideal for your video chip.
I have one fairly new 17" CRT that is blurry until it warms up for a few hours. It seems worse at the edge at first and then clears up slowly.

Hi
Sorry it took so long to get back to you...you were right the next day the monitor had cleared itself up.
Thank you!
Holly
