Boy, it would be a lot easier to login if the letters were more uniform, so I can tell what they are. Rant Over.

I searched my files and can't find this. When I upgraded my camera version to 7.0, the Icon now appears in my task bar tray next to the clock. Repa, or someone can you remind me how to get rid of this at StartUp, Please?

Look for something like "Preferences" or "Settings" by searching the menu items in your Kodak software to see if there is a setting that will give you the option of starting or not starting the software at startup. If you can't find anything:

1. Start > Run > Type msconfig in the text box, click ok.

2. Select the Startup Tab.

3. Look for a startup application related to your camera software and uncheck it.

4. Click ok, reply ok when it asks you if you want to restart the system.

5. When the system reboots, check the box in the lower left-hand corner of the window that appears and click ok.

If the Icon in your system tray comes back after rebooting:

1. Start > Run > type services.msc in the text box and click ok.

2. In the window that appears, search the list for the name of an application(s) related to your Kodak software, and when you find it, double-click on it. A window will appear.

3. On that window you will see options to select the following:

a. Service Status: click on the Stop button to stop the service.

b. Service Type: Set the Service type to manual or disabled (try manual first - if the icon comes back in the system tray on the next reboot, set it to disabled)

4. Click Ok to close the window.

Repa, just wanted to let you know that the first 5 steps below worked. When I find time to do the other remedies, on "End Program" etc., I'll let you know.

1. Start > Run > Type msconfig in the text box, click ok.
