Laptop ? (no biggie)

I just a question. It's not a big deal, so I wasn't sure which forum to put it in.

I'm just wondering if a person should let their laptop cool down before putting it away in it's case, after shutting down? If so, for how long about?

It's not a bad idea to let it cool down for a few minutes, Ruth. I let mine cool for 10 -15 minutes unless I am in a hurry. You should let it cool for at least 5 minutes if you need to pack it and go right away. The main thing is to not put it in the case right after shutting down if it has gotten rather warm during operation.

Thanks for answering my question, Repa! I was just wondering. I always let it "cool down" for about 1/2 hour, but sounds like I don't have to for that long.
