Repa,
I'm still curious as how I've got the Cardspace gizmo, & I don't see it in add/remove programs. Don't you think that it is strange that it's not in there? When I go to the Control panel now the Icon is sitting parked up there.

Do you think I need to try to find it and remove it?

What if I went to>Start>Search to find it?

I thought you said you didn't have CardSpace? Apparently, Cardspace is integrated with .NET Framework 3.0 and/or 3.5. From research I did, the only way to remove CardSpace is to uninstall the .NET Framework 3.0. You would do that by uninstalling the last KB associated with .Net Franework 3.0 in the list of Add/Remove programs first, working your way up until all of .net framework 3.0 is gone, or

you can just disable the CardSpace service:

Start > Run > services.msc > Windows CardSpace > Properties > Startup type: Disabled.

CardSpace does seem to cause some people problems with their computer, so do one or the other. Either is equally effective. Disabling it is probably easier for you.
