Try using Google's language translator as a proxy server and see if you can get there that way. Copy the link below and replace "http://geeksgeeksmoregeeks.forumotion.net/" with the addresses above:

http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&langpair=zh%7Cen&u=http://geeksgeeksmoregeeks.forumotion.net/

Sam,

The first link works for me, but sometimes the second link works and sometime I get the same error you do. I have no idea why.

Both links work fine for me. It could be your ISP that is causing trouble, although the proxy server trick above should have gotten you there if that was the case, but you never know. You could try lowering your security setting temporarily in IE, or try using Firefox.

You might also try the following command at a command line prompt (Start > Run > type cmd and click ok), then type:

netsh winsock reset

at the command prompt and press enter. See if that might work.

I get security alerts by email from Sophos each month and in their latest edition they have an item about the Conficker worm.Full blog post here.

Also they have a free scanner for this worm. You need to sign up for a account to be able to download it.It is a very rudimentary looking scanner with no progress bar,but it only took about 35 minutes to scan the hard drive.
