for about the last week pc been acting strange.    it's very slow, when i give a command, sometimes the little hourglass will come up, and hourglass will disappear, and the command will not be followed.   i often have to try a few times to get the command to work.



the first attempt to troubleshoot, i restored it back to a day before i noticed the problem, and hoped that would cure it.   it seemed to help some, but, it's still not operating correctly.

I have been getting kicked off my wireless connection. So have dragged out the 25' ethernet cord again.  I switched from a regular modem to a wireless modem. Tech support for the cable I have says my levels are good and the modem is working correctly from what they can tell.  I have done the whole power cycling thing numerous times and get kicked off.  May need to replace my wireless modem because it may not be able to hold an IP.  But did some checking into my computer first just in case.
