One of the jobs I am looking at says they want someone who knows about MS Publishing... I have learned it is not available at the library or the MN Workforce sites. WHere would be my best option to get acess to this? Seeing as how I do not have my own computer yet.. $$$$ are there close alternatives? Does open office have anything? Was just curious..

What does it do?

I use to occasionally get a message when I closed OE telling me it could compact messages and giving me a change to do it not. Recently I have started getting the message multiple times a day - while it is open. Any ideas?

I am using EXCEL 2007

I am working on a spread sheet for a friend of mine - one that she can use to keep her check register and balance her checkbook. I did a little research on pre-made ones but didn't see one that would do what I wanted

One things I want to do is provide a pick list that she can use to fill in the TO column. The list will contain places that she frequently writes check to. Will need the ability to type a value in the TO column that is not on the list.

I found out how to get the column headings to print on each page, but what about when viewing/entering data on the spread sheet. If there are a large number of columns on the spread sheet when the headings scroll off it makes it hard to know what columns contain what data. Is there any way to keep the headings displayed on the screen? Hope this question makes sense.
