I trust that this is satisfactory, because to be honest, none of this Y to K problem has made any sense to me. But I understand it is a globalproblem, and our team is glad to help in any way possible. And what does the year 2000 have to do with it? Speaking of which, what do you think We ought to do next year when the two digit year rolls over from 99 to 00? We'll await your direction.

Back in 1999 there was a big panic about lots of computer software that would not work when the year changed to 2000. Many old programs would not handle the date correctly. A lot of work had to be done to change lots of software. The projects were normally referred to as Y2K projects - standing for "year 2000".

In this joke the person in charge of the project had misunderstand and thought it was :
"Y-to-K" instead of "Y2K". So they went thru and changed the spelling of all the days of the week and months of the years - changing the y to kk. (Januark, Februark, )

I worked on a Y2K project back then, so guess this was extra funny to me.

oh lol ehh its okay i guess... i was alieve bac then, i was at church, they where all preying or something; idk maybe they thought god was coming or something idk, but at like 1am they set off fireworks and we ate a huge meal so i honestly don't know what all that had to do with 2000 but the joke was okay i guess now... lol thanx fo rthat fay.
