Microsoft Update

I recently updated my Microsoft Office to the 2007 edition (for free). Because of some issues I was having they suggested I do a Windows update. I had just oked an update yesterday. The one today searched and found 11 important and 11 optional updates most of them for MS Office 2007. Why didn't it automatically find them before?

Don't know for sure, but probably because the updates required updates. I've experienced that in the regular Windows updates once or twice in the past - did a normal update, rechecked and found other updates available.

I have to do Office updates completely separate from Windows Update at a different web page. But I do have MS Office 2000 Small Business, so it could be different than doing updates for MS Office 2007.

It took 3 times to get all the updates I think there was 25 or so... I did have to update Windows Updates for it to find them.
