Enjoy your new computer. Did you build it, or buy it?

I bought it. It was about 398 dollars. I can add about 12 more gigs of ram, and if I ever have the money upgrade the processor to the xeonon i7. I wanted to build my own, but I cannot order from online. Maybe next summer if money permits I will do so lol Wink.

I plan within the next two years to get a better video card; maybe one of those fancy ones with ram, and fans built on to it; and like I said more ram, and if I ever get the money I wanna upgrade the processor. Its still much faster then my last one, and has more upgradablility.

I would kind of like to replace the 1G ram in my netbook with 2G. I don't really use it for much, but it is kinda slow and think another G migh help. But I am afraid to mess with it. The info I frind for Acer said this netbook was not designed for the user to replace the Ram and it was not recommended. Other places, I found instructionsfor doing it, but sounds like you have to go thru the keyboard. It is an Acer apire one d270-1824. I don't use it enough to chance breaking it and to definelty voiding the warranty - so guess I'll ues it as is. Most of my time I am on my desktop

Again, hope you enjoy you new computer.

Fay
