They already did push it through last nights update. Vista. I will let you know how it goes. Rarely use IE I like my Firefox. I miss Firefox at work. Guessing IE8 will install at work tonight. That will be the real test.

Thanks Holly!

I for one like to let the computer do the necessarily updates and like to keep it updated, but knowing the history of Vista and IE8 I am so worry to allow it.

So far I have not found any other articles of controversy... but as they say... "week 3"

Eagerly awaiting your finds!

I have had IE7 for a while but have been holding off on IE8. I have my updates set so that it notifies me first and so far I have not let it install IE8. So I am also curious as to what people here think. (I have windows XP and IE7)

I'm still on IE6, avoiding all the things I didn't like about IE7 and waiting for a better report on IE8. My computers may go to the grave with IE6 and WinXP.

IE 8 IMO looks like IE7 - though I never use IE... so IDK what the differenace is. Heck you could put IE 6, 5,4,3,2,1 in front of me and i wont know the difference as I've never used it other then at school...
