open office question Empty
PostSubject: open office question   open office question Empty10/8/2015, 21:17

I created a CALC spreadsheet in open office and locked some cells , unlocked others and protected the sheet.
Now I want to make some changes to some of the locked cells. But I can not remove the protection on the sheet because I do not remember the password Sad
Is there anything I can do, that is not too involved. Or should I just rec-recreate the sheet.

If you do not know , that is ok. Just let me know that and I will redo the sheet or something.

Thanks
Fay

Only thing I know to do is start over with a new sheet if you can't remember the password. You need to store those passwords in a safe place.

Repa,

Ok, I was kind of afraid of that. It is not a big problem right now, The sheet is in progress and I can create a new one. Was hoping that there was some way around it, in case it happened in the future, but figured there probably was not. I actually do not need a password at all. Not going to put one on this time.
I usually sue EXCEL instead of openoffice, but I wanted to chance some defaults on what I am working on, and did not want those defaults changed in Excel.

Thanks
Fay
