| Has anyone use truecrypt encryption tool. I was doing some google searches and came across it. I read just a few reviews and is sounds pretty good. Not asking anyone to do any research, just wonder if anyone knows anything about it - supposed to be free but request donations.

| Never used it or heard of it until now, Fay. Let us know more about it if you decide to try it. | |

| Thanks for your replies. Not sure if I'll mess with it or not but if I do I will post back. May be a while if I do. I don't have anything that is critical that I encrypt, but I do keep my check book on it (no account nubmers), and other stuff - that it is just not ones business. The only times that I might be concerned - is if I take the computer to the shop, or if I carry my backup drive with me and it is lost or stolen.

Warning! Beware of Download Manager install request in Ad Bar Under Geeks Logo | 10/31/2013, 16:09 by Repa | Just noticed that when I went to logon that there is an ad under the Geeks Logo that says, "your Download Manager might be outdated. Do you want to install it now?" Don't fall for it! Ignore it!
