Repa,

Can you tell me why sometimes when I open up the Firefox Browser, this also opens up in another tab? I don't guess it matters, but I was just curious?

That page appears right after you do a NoScript update. May also be letting you know that an update to NoScript is available if you haven't done an update recently.

I didn't even realize that NoScript had to be updated.?

That NoScript site has so much stuff on it, I'm afraid to click on any links on the page.

How would I go about updating, and do you update every time an update is available? I've never done an update at all.

Usually you will get a popup when you start firefox telling you an update is available, and you just do the obvious. Or, on the firefox menu bar, click Tools > add-ons, and click Find updates at the lower right of the window that appears. That will update all add-ons that have an update available.

When I clicked the add-ons, it takes me directly to the FF Add Ons Manager page. In the left pane it has:

Get Add-ons
Extensions
Appearance
Plugins

And, when I click on them it just shows the ones that I have already. I never did get Find updates, as you described above.

Wc,

It may be the ersion of FIREFOX.

I don't use firefox much but I had a look at mine.
If I got to the page you indicated - it has what you listed on the left.

Up at the top of the page on the right - there is a box and to the left of it is a little icon with a down arrow. If I click that arorw I get a drop down box and one of the choices is check for updates.

Hope this helps.

Fay
