Repa,

1) Java 6 Update 35 installed 8/30/12.and I let the Java Console for it install. But then when I went to the manager thing I disabled it since all the others were disabled per your instructions. Is this correct?

2) Also there is Avast Web Rep 7.0.1456 and Web Reputation Plugin. Should I disable?

3) Also there is NO Script 2.5.3, should I disable or leave enabled?

No, Java 6 is not the problem, Java 7 is. There is no need to disable Java 6 plugins in your browsers. Just don't allow Java to update to 7 until a patch has been built and offered, and I don't know when that will be.

I don't know if it matters, but, should I then, go ahead and re-enable the older dis-abled Java Console 6.0.29 & Java Console 6.0.33?

You can, and you only need 6.0.33. If Java 6.0.29 is still installed in Add/Remove programs, you can uninstall it.

Just noticed that when I went to logon that there is an ad under the Geeks Logo that says, "your Download Manager might be outdated. Do you want to install it now?" Don't fall for it! Ignore it!
