| Repa, 1. What do you think of these 2 links? They're supposed to be free. http://cryptoheaven.comhttp://www.hushmail.com/2. I'll go ahead & ask this here now. Recently you had mentioned when using MaAfee Site Advisor, that you also read the comments about any suspect site you were checking out. Do you read those comments, after you click "GO" to get sent to the page that says it's a "Green OK" site or not, down at the bottom of that page?? | |

The safest "free" email is likely accessing your service provider's email webpage. I never see any spam mail on mine. You use the userid and password of your internet account to access it. Gmail and Hotmail are ok as long as you use strong passwords and change them every 60 days or so. There is a link at the bottom of the McAfee webpage that gives you the color of the site in question that takes you to user comments. It will be self-evident. | |

| There is a link at the bottom of the McAfee webpage that gives you the color of the site in question that takes you to user comments. It will be self-evident. The reason I asked about this, is that a few times over the weekend I clicked "Comments" at the bottom of the McAfee webpage, & all it did was re-open up the same page I had just clicked on. I assume there were no comments to view..? Let me revise this with a screen shot. I clicked on "View Community Reviews"& it takes me to a similar page & at the bottom, it appears that you have to register to get the "Comments".?... | |

| No, you don't have to register. You've just picked sites for which there are no comments. Enter www.bleepingcomputer.com in the SiteAdvisor searchbox and you'll see comments. If you want to go to a site with no comments, you'll have to make that judgement call. Look also at what Avast's Webrep is telling you if you are doing searches and the site in question is in the list of links on the google webpage. | |

Warning! Beware of Download Manager install request in Ad Bar Under Geeks Logo | 10/31/2013, 16:09 by Repa | Just noticed that when I went to logon that there is an ad under the Geeks Logo that says, "your Download Manager might be outdated. Do you want to install it now?" Don't fall for it! Ignore it!
