Repa,
1) when i do my daily updates on spybot, a-squared, and ad-adware, do you have the same problem that i do? that is when i click on each of them, they take, what seems like a long time to start up, in reality probably about 45 seconds maybe, but, never the less it seems like a lot longer. i guess i need to put the clock on them to see for sure. do you have that problem, and is there a way to make them start up faster?

2) then after they come up, and i click the update button, the a-squared really takes a long time for the progress bar to go all the way across to complete the update. i'd say sometimes as long as 2 minutes. ad-aware is sometimes fast progress bar & sometimes real slow. i just wondered if you had any of these problems, and if i can remedy them with a solution?

Yes, these programs are rather slow getting started, and asquared is very slow in downloading the updates - it looks like it downloads the entire database, including the updates. Nothing to be alarmed about.

Same thing happens to me too.
