- Repa,
My photoshop does not open .tif documents - what am I missing there? Are you clicking on a .tif file to open it, or selecting File > Open and then navigating to the folder where your .tif file is? Photoshop file association does not default to opening .tif files when a .tif file is clicked on, but should open by selecting File > Open and then navigating to the correct folder and selecting the file. Have you checked to see what file associations are assigned in Photoshop? To do that, select Edit > File Association... Check the block that says "Tagged Image File Format (*.tif)." Now, when you click on a .tif file, it will open in Photoshop. If your version of Photoshop is so old that .tif is not an assigned file extension, the native extension for Photoshop is a .psd file. Use that instead of .tif if you still can't open a .tif file after trying the 2 options I gave you above. | |

| Have you seen this? http://adobe-photoshop-cs2-update.en.softonic.com/Here's some discussion of the problem: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/332/332534.htmlIf nothing above is helpful, tell me exactly where the .tif files are, how and where and by whom and what application they were created, what different approaches you've tried to open them, and what error message or program response you get when you try the different approaches to opening a .tif file in CS2.

Warning! Beware of Download Manager install request in Ad Bar Under Geeks Logo | 10/31/2013, 16:09 by Repa | Just noticed that when I went to logon that there is an ad under the Geeks Logo that says, "your Download Manager might be outdated. Do you want to install it now?" Don't fall for it! Ignore it!
