Instead of using print screen key and pasting the screen shot into a your graphics program. Windows Vista has a utility called the Snipping Tool to make capturing screen shots easier.

Read how to and more information of it here:

Thanks Samantha, but I have Windows Vista Home Basic Edition. Otherwise, it would have made doing screen shots a lot easier for me! Very Happy

I still have windows XP. My computer is getting close to 6 years old but I keep hoping it will hold out a while longer and that I'll be able to skip VISTA. If not, I'll probably be looking here a long for VISTA information.

Fay,

Lets hope that your computer can hang on as rumor goes, they will be getting rid of Vista due to all the complaints around the glob.

Though I have not encounter any problems so far and I am sure its due to my computer Uncle in the US who "fixed" it up before sending it to me. These programs are not intuitive... I am still using XP (my favorite) when working on my documents... frankly speaking... who has the time these days to find the same things put in a different way to get the same result!

However the Snipping tool is cool... lol.. better than Paint to save screen shots
