| I wasn't sure where to put this question. I'm wondering, with the pop-up blocker on in Firefox, how come "Classmates" always pops up every time that I open Fun Trivia? | |

| I don't know, Ruth, I can't duplicate your problem with my Firefox browser. That doesn't happen to me. At what stage do you get the popup? | |

| When I first click to get on the Fun Trivia game from the Portal page. I thought that I had the settings correct to block pop ups, but maybe not. What should the settings be? | |

| If you have "Block pop-up windows" checked under Tools > Options > Content tab, then that's all you can do unless you have allowed pop-ups from funtrivia or the 3rd party sites that piggyback onto funtrivia (there are several). Click on the "Exceptions" button to see if you have any allowed sites that you need to remove.
Have you downloaded the NoScript Add-on? That blocks a lot of stuff, especially from those third-party sites. You can get it by clicking Tools > Add-ons > Get extensions. Then do a search on NoScript in the search box of the window that appears and download it following the instructions given if you don't have it.

| I have everything checked as it should be. I looked under Exceptions and everything is blocked.
On the NoScript Add-on, I can't find it. I looked under Tools >Add-ons, then it just said extentions, not Get Extentions. I tried clicking it and updating, but no updates were found, it said. Am I missing something?

| Ruth,
Here I am again jumpint into something I don't not much about. I have firefox but seldome use it - so not very familiar. I did this
tools clicked on the Get add-ons button ( for me it is on the left) down at the bottom clicked on : See All Recommended Add-ons over on the left click on Privacy & Securtiy on the right, the top part of the screen was white - I browsed down and under top downloads there was NO Script
Not sure if this will help or not.

| Thanks a ton Fay!! I did what you suggested and then went and played Fun Trivia. There were no pop ups, and there was a NoScript thing that said that it blocked the pop up! See, you know more than you think you do! | |

Warning! Beware of Download Manager install request in Ad Bar Under Geeks Logo | 10/31/2013, 16:09 by Repa | Just noticed that when I went to logon that there is an ad under the Geeks Logo that says, "your Download Manager might be outdated. Do you want to install it now?" Don't fall for it! Ignore it!
