Repa,

Since I updated the Java the other day, I was offered a free 30day free trial for Carbonite, the online computer back up system

You ever tried that, you think it's OK to try?

Well, Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity advertise it; it's probably ok, but I back up my system on an Maxtor 500GB external hard drive. It's very easy to do; you set up a configuration of what folders on your drive(s) you want the Maxtor Manager to backup for you, click a button and it does it. You can also schedule it to backup your system automatically at specified intervals.

Thanks Repa.

I've heard of on Beck, & ones you mentioned, but, just wondered if you had tried it.

I was reading the privacy, and the I forget the other thing that described it.

Anyway, it seems like it will ask a lot of personal information, that I was concerned about having to give out. That I don't like.
