Repa,
I plan to get rid of my gmail account as soon as I can, and use my Yahoo account. From what I've heard recently about google giving up their customers privacy, that I don't trust them now.
Yahoo has a feature that will Import all of your email contacts from the old email, and even Import saved emails that one would like to keep.

I thought about using it to Import my contacts, and saved emails, but, is that really good idea, for the same reason, Privacy?

I can't think of any reason why you shouldn't.
