Repa, this one is only one that failed to update out of 18 new updates....it's a "Recommended" Update for Windows...it is KB 2952664.....I've never had any luck trying to get a failed update to be recovered in the past....
Would you happen to have a quick fix for this, or do you think it will be OK if I just leave things as they are?.......

That is Compatibility update for upgrading Windows 7 to Windows 8. You won't need it unless you plan to upgrade to Windows 8. Here's a discussion about it:

Some people have had problems installing it and others haven't. I don't see it on my computer or in the latest Windows Update list I have to download. Someone somewhere said the dll modules that consist of the update were installed with Windows 7 SP1.
