I just found how to get the old win xp style run command on win 7.
here is a linkL

Also on the keyboard you can just press the windows butt along with R and it will bring up the run command box.

Thanks for the tip on WIN 7 Fay

I am still on Vista which has the RUN command and can be located in Accesories

Win 7 really sounds complicated Shocked

Sam,

Well I just looked at the accessories and the RUN command is there. I never even looked to look for it there and the searches I did, did not mention it. But, I really like it a little more handy anyway. I have it set up so I don't have to go thru accessoreis to get it - but as I said I did not even know it was there.
Kind of strange that was not mentioned, in the stuff I read when I did the search for the run command and win 7
